For generation five, we followed Maeve and Harrison. She opened an apothecary with her two black cats Ouija and Salem. One evening, while thinking of the love her parents had, she decided to conjure up a spell to bring a man to her, and soon Harrison came into her life. A strong, dark haired family man who was smitten the moment he laid eyes on the beautiful and bewitching Maeve. They had two daughters, Amoret and Tanith who from the beginning had a very strained relationship. Which stemmed from Amoret thinking that Tanith was more well liked due to the fact that she was a spell caster like their mother and grandfather. Amoret, a human, was a very troubled teen and experimented with heavy drugs causing her to go to rehab and eventually move out to the city to be away from her family. After all the years and desperate attempts from their parents, the sisters never repaired their relationship.

However, when their daughters were older, Harrison had a terrible accident where he fell into some of Maeve's potions and was found unresponsive. Maeve in her horror cried out, and in hearing her cries her father Caden came to her. The two tried to bring Harrison back to life with a joint spell but it didn't work. That is, until Caden found there was a secret family spell that would work to allow Harrison to come back, but it would require a life, for a life. Since his age was fading, and he had lost his Sparrow, his whole heart, he made the selfless decision to give himself to the spell and in turn trade his life for Harrison's. Through tears of joy and sadness and accepting her father’s choice, Maeve hugged her once again breathing husband, but mourned the death of her incredible father. The only thing that gave her solace was that he was back again, with his Sparrow.
