Generation 13 we introduced Theodore. A kind, quiet boy who loved the guitar and cooking with his mom. As a teenager he didn’t have too many friends but gained a close relationship with another quiet student, Penelope. The two bonded quickly and her personality was one Theo didn’t expect. She made him laugh like no other. They fell in love and spent many afternoons by an abandoned house looking at the clouds and just discussing life. One day, Penelope had the terrible news that her parents were forcing her to an all girl’s school across the states. They told her she was being too distracted with having a boyfriend and wanted her to focus on her studies. Devastated the two shared lasting moments together swearing that they’d always be in contact. After months, one summer Penny was able to get away and see Theo. They met at the abandoned house and shared their first time together with candles and a beautiful soft moment that they’d never forget. More time passed and as life moved on, so did their communication. The texts got few and far between and the calls less frequent. Theo always had a special place in his heart for Penny but he realized maybe they were just growing apart.

 

One night, Theo received a text from Penny telling him that she needed to talk. Meet him somewhere close. He grabbed his things and drove to see her. On the way, he crashed into another car head on causing him to be rushed to the hospital. When he got there, with his family by his side they had to tell him the devastating news that the car he crashed into, was Penny’s friend who was driving her and Penny to meet up with Theo (she caused the accident not him). But that wasn’t all. Penny had suffered so much her heart gave out and she passed away. Theo couldn’t breathe his life felt like it was taken from him. He didn’t even get to see her one last time. While crying in the hospital hallway, a doctor found him and helped him up, showing him that even though Penelope had passed, she left behind something. Their son.

 

Theo’s whole life became about their son, Rhett. He put himself through high school as a straight A student and even college all while taking care of his son. He got a perfect GPA from Foxbury in Psychology and went on to become a speech therapist. Him and Rhett moved into an adorable apartment and life seemed, good. But Theo was missing something. Someone to share his life with. He tried dating, but it never worked. He wanted a personal companion, not just a physical one.

 

When Rhett was in school, he started acting out. Which was extremely unlike him because like his dad, he was always a great student who behaved very well. His teacher reached out to Theo to set up a meeting and when he got there, he couldn’t believe how beautiful Rhett’s teacher was. Her smile, her kind voice. He was taken aback. Over time the two began a friendship and when he was unsure about what to do or if he should listen to his heart, his siblings told him GO FOR IT. So he took the plunge and asked Zoey on a date and the two realized that the love and connection was there, all along.

They married with Rhett by their side and raised him with the love of Penelope. Zoey always saying she was a co-mama. Never one to replace. They went on to live in Willow Creek near his brother and sister in law and had two beautiful daughters, Learrah and our generation 14 heir, Bristol.
